Origami, the art of paper folding

I didn't have anything to do. So I made Origami.
This shape is a bird, named TURU.
Almost Japanese can make it within five minutes, maybe.

Dear Yoshichan,
it is a pity you could not read spanish, yet ;)

I have a great post talking about a big origami Challenge. This is the link to the post http://loietdice.wordpress.com/2008/01/17/una-avion-de-papel-de-altos-vuelos/

You can not read spanish but the new came from the japanese newspaper asahi http://www.asahi.com/science/update/0112/TKY200801120237.html
and the Origami Koukai http://oriplane.com/ja/top.html
But the most interesting part of my post it is the video at the end.
It is a video about The origami Japanese tradition. Please, you must see. You will enjoy the origami sensei battle.
There are more videos about japanese tradition in Youtube. The Sushi video it is also CHOO Omoshiroi.

I couldn't read Spanish yet. But I looked your post of Origami.

I did see the video about The origami Japanese tradition. This is made by Nippon Television Neteork Corporation. The actor of Japanese Tradition is famous Japanese comedian. So I was surprised when I saw it.

Foreigners who don't know about Japan may think that Japan has comical event, if they see The origami Japanese tradition.

anyway It's so funny!
